PKRA - O’Neill Kitesurf World Cup 2012

It is the first time that the PKRA World Tour visits Holland, the place where many famous kiteboarders were born. The O’Neill Kitesurf World Cup takes place at Scheveningen, The Hague, Holland. Scheveningen beach is a perfect spot for wind and water sports and it has previously hosted a few editions of the windsurfing world cup as well as some important kiteboarding events back in 2000 and 2011.

The O’Neill Kitesurf World Cup takes place between the 15th and 20th of May. Expected weather conditions are: flat water to stormy 3 meter waves and wind speed 10 up to 40 knots.

The O’Neill Kitesurf World Cup hosts freestyle and race competitions and the participants will battle for cash prizes of €52,000. Registration fee until the 5th of May is €105 and late registration or onsite registration incurs an additional €25 late fee.
