If you are a surf fan, you will surely want to check out the new kite surfboards Airush has prepared for you for the 2013 season. All of the boards are tuned to take wave riding to a new level. The new 2013 Compact by Airush is the type of universal machine that can be used in virtually any conditions. It is “the icon of versatile performance”, as the guys at Airush say.

With the new Airush Compact, you will no longer need to switch board depending on the wind and wave conditions. This board practically adapts itself to the riding venue in order to offer reliable performance. The board can be used with ease in small surf and light winds, as well as in bigger waves and higher winds. As its name states, the board has a compact shape which makes it easy to handle in most conditions.

The shape is highly hydrodynamic and makes it agile and sharp. Due to this feature, the Compact can be fitted into virtually any section of the wave. A V bottom design in the tail area provides smooth rail-to-rail transitions and increased stability. The wider nose assures better planning speed over flat sections and allows the rider to charge the waves with almost no effort. The board features a narrower tail which improves control in higher winds.

The Airush Compact is quite a snappy board, but also fun to ride. It is also very comfortable. It is crafted using Active Technology, based on a stiff and ultra lightweight carbon I-beam which runs through the center of the board to assure optimal flex and durability. The board is also available in Flytech III Bamboo tech, using a structure based on a full bamboo sandwich deck and Bioflex bamboo sandwich bottom deck.

in decent waves it runs fine, but can handle chop well. it doesn't have the grip i need and feels to heavy and aggressive in turns. it is also hard to burry the rail like i want.
