The Ripper is a reliable wave machine designed to take kitesurfing to e new level. It is designed to handle virtually all wave conditions, from small surf to huge waves. It can also be used with or without straps, depending on the rider’s style. At the same time, it is powerful, yet user friendly. It can accommodate the casual rider who enjoys a smooth cruise in surf, as well as the seasoned rider who loves to charge big waves and perform stunning tricks.

Developed by in collaboration with the CORE and CARVED team riders, the Ripper was extensively tested in various wave conditions to make sure it delivers the ultimate performance. And it does. The Ripper excels in choppy waves or glassy reef waves, big and small. It feels right at home in any surf conditions. The Ripper features extra volume in the tail and nose, so it is extremely stable and can tackle any wave with ease.

The entire volume distribution assures a balanced ride, while the short surfboard outline assures superior early planing potential. The moderate tail rocker provides excellent control in small surf as well as in big waves. It also boosts speed and acceleration. The rails are rounded in the middle section and sharpened in the tail area. Due t this feature, the Ripper can perform quick and tight turns and hold a good edge. It can also run extremely smooth in demanding conditions and chop.

A thruster fin setup improves the drive, making the board more agile and providing a good grip. The Ripper is built using a light-weight performance foam core wrapped in several layers of glass and an outer PVC layer. This structure assures a perfect strength to weight ratio and makes the board very responsive. The Core Ripper is supplied with front and back pads, DAKINE Supremo Straps, V4A screws and FCS style thruster fins.
