With the new RRD Chiatta k V2 you can have tons of strapless fun in small waves. It is a board that dynamic riders who love challenging surf will love, but it is also a user friendly companion, so it can accommodate riders that are new to strapless action and want to progress. So, if you want to tackle the waves in strapless mode and enjoy an exciting experience, this is the board for you.

RRD has decided that it is time to take your strapless ride to the next level. And that is what the Chiatta K V2 does. It is designed to deliver maximum strapless fun and performance in small surf. But it does more than that. It is also reliable and easy to use when the waves get bigger and can be easily ridden in lighter wind conditions.

The Chiatta K V2 features a surfboard-like shape, with wider hips and nose, which makes it very playful, bit also quick to plane and easy to drive upwind. It has a fast rocker which delivers a perfect blend of speed and control and the concave is optimized to offer better stability and a clean glide. The thinner tail profile increases the bottom turn hold at high speed and the wider board profile improves the bite when using the whole rail line.

The board can boost big airs and catch the waves with ease. It is also very easy to maneuver and feels reliable under your feet. RRD has built the Chiatta K V2 using a CNC PU Core with lightweight stringer, polyester resin layups plus a bamboo deck patch and Biaxial glass heel reinforcement patches. This is a very light and durable structure. The board uses a thruster fin setup that improves tracking and speed.
