Liquid Force NRG 2015 Kite Review
The new NRG kite from Liquid Force is a reliable freeride and freestyle machine that performs great in all conditions. Smooth power, solid lift, precise control and clean handling are just a few of the features that recommend this kite for a wide range of riders. The NRG can perform advanced technical moves, but it’s also great for cruising and boosting airs. It virtually adapts to your riding style.
As soon as you take the Liquid Force NRG for a spin you’ll love it. It has a solid power delivery, yet it is user friendly and easy to control in any situation. The NRG sports a flat, shallow profile which ensures optimal power delivery and accurate response, plus very fast relaunch and depower.
The kite features a four strut design that allows fly forward in the window for better power delivery and upwind performance and sharper turns. This design also makes it very stable and crisp in virtually any wind conditions and helps generate efficient lift. Liquid Force’s Synergy Strut construction adds extra rigidity to the canopy profile adding strength and an ultra responsive direct feel.
The NRG uses a Low-profile Cascade Bridle system which allows for a smoother power delivery, very fast and accurate response and hassle free steering. The rider can adjust turning speed, bar pressure and bar input response at the wing tip and on the pigtails to match his or her style and skill. The high sweep wing tips provide superior turning speed and quick realunch in any conditions.
The NRG is also available in Light Breeze versions. These models come in 14 and 16 meters sizes and are optimized for superior lightwind performance.
