Naish Draft 2015 Kite Review
Kite Features
The Draft Naish’s high performance freeride machine, which also packs serious racing and big air potential. It is a kite that delivers a powerful lift for boosting big airs and has a stunning low end power. It is a perfect kite for advanced riders who love extreme maneuvers, but also for intermediates who want to progress fast. The larger Draft models (14m and 17m) are reliable light wind kites and will get you on the water in the lightest breeze.
Powered by the Naish Draft you can experience a new dimension of freeriding, racing and big air. It is a powerful kite, but it is also user-friendly. It excels at upwind performance, hooked-in riding and competitive speed and gives you a powerful lift for big airs and huge jumps thanks to its high performance airfoil design.
The Draft features a swept open C-shape design which maximizes lift. The open arc delivers superior power while the swept profile improves turning. The profile’s depth and shape evolves along the airfoil, creating an evolutive profile. This profile provides a more solid power delivery, reduced drag and faster turning. A static bridle platform without pulleys improves control and stability.
There are five struts on the 7, 9, 10.5, 12 meter Drafts for better control in high winds and 3 struts on the 14 and 17 meter models for superior performance in light winds. The struts feature a reduced diameter to improve low end and handling.
