Naish Park 2011 Kite Review
Kite Features
The 2011 Naish Park is built with performance and simplicity in mind. The manufacturer wanted to create a kite that performs great at freeride style, and it is easy to use by anyone. The Park is a water relaunchable SLE kite, but offers the power of a C-kite. It features a three strut design for simplicity and to assure an easy set up. The full outline assures that the kite flies smoothly and has improved acceleration abilities.
Excellent depower is delivered by the use of a swept leading edge which positions the wingtips behind the center of the canopy. Fast and easy to maneuver, the Naish park takes freeride to a whole new level.
For 2011 Naish has discontinued some of the previous kite models. Although the new range of kites features fewer models, Naish has made sure that these kites mix power, speed, control and user friendly features to meet the needs of the most demanding riders. The new Park is super easy to use, built on a simple SLE design and it is here to take freeriding to a new dimension.
Naish has used the new Power Foil Canopy with horizontal seam shaping design which drastically increases overall efficiency. Due to this feature the Park turns very fast, but remains stable and reliable all the time. A thinner foil profile and a slightly reduced leading edge diameter assure that the rider can depower the kite easy and without any effort. The kite is powered up by an Octopus inflation system which is easy to use and charges the kite very fast. Once it is launched in the air, the Naish Park flies very smoothly do to the new wing tips which are built to reduce drag. The deflation valve uses a new Velcro closure which assures that it stays closed in the case of a possible impact. Once the kite is fully powered up it offers an excellent top speed and plenty of power for freeride maneuvers. The rider can steer the kite easily and without effort. The direct and super responsive control generates only positive feedback.
The full Dacron trailing edge assures that the Park is ultra durable in any conditions. Also, the kite is reinforced with Aramid patches and can take a lot of punishment, but it is very light at the same time. Fast, simple to use, powerful and accurate, the Naish Park is the best freeride machine. It comes in 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 square meters sizes and offers top performance when it is used with the Naish Universal Control System.
