New school riders love to boost big airs, perform huge kite loops and all sorts of unhooked moves. To do that, they need a reliable kite that offers reactive steering, good power delivery and increased stability. The new 2012 North Evo offers all that and much more. The Evo, just like the other 2012 North kite models is built using the North Quality Progression system which ensures excellent realiability.
The kite is crafted to last and, it is built using only top quality fabrics and performs great in all conditions. The Evo is engineered using a delta platform, which assures a smooth flight, smooth power delivery and a reliable C-kite bar feel when the rider unhooks. At the same time, the surf oriented riders can enjoy quick and predictable turns and excellent drifts.
The Evo features the Adaptive Tips technology which allows the rider to set the right sheeting force and turning performance by using simple back pigtail adjustments. The kite has two bar pressure settings. Lower bar pressure provides increased turning ability, while higher bar pressure assures a crisp and direct kite feedback. At the same time, the Evo can be used with four or five lines, depending on the rider’s choice.
Relaunching the kite is a piece of cake, due to the use of the new Relaunch Bungees system. The relaunch bungees prevent the lines from tangling and assure a clean and fast relaunch. The kite is quite powerful and has a solid pull, but at the same time the power delivery is predictable and the kite feels very steady. The North Evo is the kite that covers all aspects of kiteboarding. It jumps high, it offers nice hangtime, it turns fast, it is steady, and it can be depowered and relaunched without hassle.
