North Kiteboarding Welcomes Lewis Crathern to the Team

North Kiteboarding officials are happy to announce that British athlete Lewis Crathern has joined their crew. Lewis and North will make an incredible team in the upcoming seasons.

Lewis Crathern is one of the top kitesurfers today. He started riding more than a decade ago and has proven to be extremely talented and determined. Over the years he excelled on the pro scene, claiming important titles. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 he claimed the British Kitesurfing Champion title, he won the Redbull Megaloop Challenge in 2012, the Canadian Open Big Air in 2015 and more.

Talking about his style, Lewis states: “I would describe my style as committed. On the water I have a lot of energy and i like to go fast into my moves. I feel like everything should be 100% so I spend my sessions looking to land 5 perfect tricks rather than 20 average ones.”

And the guys at North are stoked to have him aboard: “Lewis is one of the most committed kiteboarders there is, playing a fundamental part in the growth of the sport both in the UK and International scene. Through channeling his passion for the sport into educating people, his energy and focus has helped to expand the reach of kiteboarding.”
