Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival 2012

Period: Nov 1 - Nov 4, 2012
Location: Fort Myers, Sanibel, United States

The Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival is an annual event which promotes paddling sports in the US. It is one of the fastest growing events of its kind and gathers a large number of participants. They all come to take part in cool kayak, canoe and SUP races and have a good time.

Apart from the paddling races, the Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival hosts a fishing contest, demo sessions, instructional clinics, live music concerts, evening socials, raffles (get a $5 ticket and you have the chance to win a $3000 kayak) and many other entertaining events.

The Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival is organized by Lee County Parks & Recreation and held in collaboration with Sanibel-based CROW, the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife. Proceeds from the raffle tickets sold at the Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival go to support the work of CROW.

The Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival takes place between the 1st and 4th of November on the beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel. To register for this event and find out the complete schedule as well as more info, please visit the Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival website.
