The Chicago World Paddle Challenge represents the sixth stop of the Standup World Series and it will gather elite rider from across the world for action packed challenges. Windy City is the perfect venue for this competition as it provides the riders with perfect paddling conditions on Lake Michigan at North Avenue Beach.

The Chicago World Paddle Challenge hosts a long distance course consisting of two laps that follow the City scape and provide a challenging and scenic inner city race, the dynamic World Series Sprint, a short course version of the long distance for entry level and youth paddlers and separate heat eliminations for the sprint racing.

Last year, Kai Lenny claimed the champ title overall in the men’s division and Annabel Anderson the champ title overall in the women’s division. They will surely fight to defend their titles this year as well.
