OluKai Ho’olaule’a 2013
The OluKai Ho’olaule’a represents a celebration of the ocean and of the cultures that surround it. The event blends elite competition with family-friendly cultural activities and gathers some of the world’s best SUP and OC1 paddlers to race the legendary 8-mile Maliko downwind run.
Elite riders, less experienced riders, families and friends are invited to join this event and enjoy canoe sailing and surfing, ancient Hawaiian games, traditional luau, hula, and live music.
The main attraction of the event is the 8-Mile downwind SUP and OC1 Races taking place on the legendary course Maliko Downwind Run, from Maliko Bay to Kanaha Beach Park. The races are open to recreational and elite riders.
The 2013 OluKai Ho’olaule’a takes place on the 11th and 12th of May, at Kanaha Beach Park in Maui. To register and find out more details, please visit the official website.
