Paddle Imua 2014

Paddle Imua 2014

Period: May 3 - May 3, 2014
Location: Maui, United States

Paddle Imua is an annual charity event that benefits Camp Imua, a program of Imua Family Services, which brings the community and children with special needs together for a free weeklong, overnight recreational camp each summer. It is also a fun water sports challenge open to all people that care about kids and want to compete and have fun.

The Camp gives school-age children with "special abilities" opportunities to try new activities and connect with others. Proceeds from Paddle Imua directly benefit Camp Imua and cover the cost of nutritious meals, campground rental, transportation, medical supplies and the many activities enjoyed at Camp.

The Paddle Imua race takes place on a 9 mile course, from Maliko Gulch to Kahului Harbor. The race is open to all paddle disciples: SUP, OC, kayak, and paddleboard and all skill levels. The event is scheduled to take place on the 3rd of May in Maui. To register and find out more details, please visit the Imua Family Services website.
