Professional speaker, waterman and adventurer Chris Bertish is a very determined man. And his latest adventure proves it. Chris has been working to set a new record for open ocean riding, as part of a project to raise funds and awareness for Miles for Smiles, in association with Operation Smile, in order to help less fortunate kids have a better life.
And the waterman has officially completed and set a South African and All African record, paddling 131.8 kilometers in 24 hours. This is the third attempt to break the 24 hours SUP record, after two previous tries in January and February. Chris is super stoked with his new 24hr Open Ocean, Stand up Paddle-All African Record, but we are sure he will seek for other challenges soon.
