Freitas and Jackson Claim the Shonan Chigasaki Pro Titles
The Shonan Chigasaki Pro gathered the best SUP riders in the world for a tough, but rewarding challenge. And the international fleet of racers staged an incredible show in the beautiful waters of Japan, land of the rising sun.
Mo Freitas proved to be one of the most determined riders in the event. He won the Sprints and came in second in the 10km Long Distance race, behind Paul Jackson. He rode the bumps well on the downwind sections of the course and showed his power and strength upwind. His performance won him the Shonan Chigasaki Pro champ title.
In the women’s division, Fanatic’s Angela Jackson proved to be the best paddler. She won both the Sprints and Long Distance races, dominating the event, and claiming the champ title.
