German Champion Sonja Duschek Picks JP Australia

JP is pretty stoked to have the most successful German female paddler of 2011 use its gear for the 2012 season. For the 2012 season, German SUP Champion Sonja Duschek will use the 14' JP-Australia Race SUP. Here is what she had to say about the JP Race board:

“This year in spring I had the chance to try some of the new boards and I immediately liked the mixture of good stability and little resistance of the JP Race. I feel well prepared for the 2012 German Championship.”

Speaking about the 2012 season, the first event of the season, the NP SUP 4-Lakes-Tropy has already come to an end; the event took place at Lake Ammersee in Germany, on the 12th of May. By using JP’s board Sonja made it to the top of the podium, winning the sprint and long distance disciplines.

The action at the NP SUP 4-Lakes-Tropy took place in cold and rainy wheather – and that’s just how Sonja likes it.

“I prefer cold weather races to the ones in 30°C so I could easily qualify for the final in the sprint discipline and eventually win it. The long distance race was especially interesting since I had the chance to compete for the first time on the new JP 14' Race board. The good feeling I had during the training was confirmed in the race as I reached my goal by a clear margin,” she commented.
