ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship Final Results

The ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship, one of the most important SUP events of 2012 has come to an end. It was Team Australia, lead by Captain Jamie Mitchell, who has dominated the competition.

At the end of this awesome competition, Team Australia claimed four gold medals and five silver ones. Jamie Mitchell dominated the 18km SUP Marathon, after the gold medal slipped through his fingers the previous day at the Men’s Technical Race. Travis Grant and Brad Gaul, Jamie’s teammates followed him.

Jordan Mercer had an incredible performance and won the Women’s Paddleboard Marathon. In the Women’s SUP Surfing Final, the gold medal went to Shakira Westdorp. Team Australia also won the Club Waikiki Trophy.

The ISA SUP Worlds gold medal went to Antoine Delpero from France, who scored a total of 17.56 in the Men’s SUP Surfing Final. The first place of the Women’s SUP Surfing Final was secured by Emmy Merrill from USA with a score of 15.94.
