Rob Rojas to Star in national Geographic's Wild Justice

Rob Rojas is one of the best SUP athletes in the US. He currently resides in San Clemente, CA and he is sponsored by O’Neill, SUP Company, Quickblade, Maui Jim, H2O Overdrive and others. Rob’s career as a dedicated SUP athlete began back in 2006 with his participation in the 50 mile paddle from Dana Point, CA to LaJolla Cove, CA, an event intended to raise money in order to support the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Ever since that event, SUP became “A vision, a passion, a Movement” for him. Rob recently won the 1st place at the New York City O’Neill SEA Paddle, the 1st place at the Hennessey’s US and International Championships, the 1st place at the Key West Classic and he is a winner of 2012 ISA World Standup Paddle & Paddleboard Championships of Team USA.

Rob is also a Fish & Game Warden and has been recently approached by National Geographic officials for collaboration. He will star in two episodes of Wild Justice, Operation Impostor. The two episodes are scheduled for broadcast on the 29th of April and 22nd of May. The episodes will present the efforts of California Wardens to protect offshore sport and commercial poachers fishing on the high seas.

When asked about his job as a Fish & Game Warden, Rob said: “It’s a demanding career, sometimes late hours and I can be out on the boat for a few days at a time. But I grew up having a passion for wildlife and the outdoors. I consider it a blessing to be able to get paid to protect our natural resources and work in the wildlife.”
