SUP Tips from Gillian Gibree

The popularity of SUP has grown exponentially over the past years. And one of the SUP disciplines with an ascending trend is SUP Yoga. And Gillian Gibree is one of the athletes at the forefront of SUP Yoga revolution.

Hailing from Massachusetts, Gillian developed her love for the ocean through prone paddleboarding, ocean swimming, standup paddling and surfing. Today, she is an accomplished Paddleboard Athlete, Fitness Model and SUP Yoga Instructor.

Gillian placed first in the Go Pro Mountain Games & the Waikiki Quiksilver Festival in the SUP Survivor Race and the Water woman Race, and also competed as a member of Team USA during the ISA World Championships.

And she loves to share her experience with all the other SUP enthusiasts. In the clip below, she shares her top three yoga poses for standup paddlers: the Half moon pose, the Eagle arm pose and the Chest expansion.
