Exocet knows that successful concepts must be followed, and that is why it has constructed the new 2009 X-Wave taking into consideration the features of the previous Wave board, which was awesome. Just like the Wave, the X-Wave is engineered to perform great in all wave conditions, only that it has been enhanced to be even faster and more accurate. To make the ride extremely comfortable and smooth Exocet has used Double Density Shock Absorbing and Jibe Shock Absorber technology as well as soft and easy to adjust foot straps. The shape and edges are carefully crafted and refined so the board delivers impressive speeds and fast turns. The volume has an optimal distribution between tip and tail, to assure maximum stability and maneuverability even in gusty conditions. The V shaped hull and enhanced rocker line offer plenty of pop and power for high jumps and speedy rotations.

The X-Wave comes in two versions, the standard and the Pro Model one. The main difference between them is only the construction fabrics. The Pro Model is built using carbon fiber fabrics, therefore is lighter and easier to maneuver in choppy waves and wind. A direct and responsive control allows the rider to concentrate on any move and experience maximum performance. On the water the board has almost no drag and is extremely hydrodynamic, and that makes it perform outstanding in the waves. Considering that is easy to handle, stable and offers nice power, the Exocet X-Wave is a great board for wave riding in side shore and on shore water.

Both the standard and the Pro Model Version are available in 73 to 103 liters volume and 230x54 to 246x64cm sizes. Maximum performance is delivered when the board is used with a 2.5 to 7.2 meters sail, depending on volume and size.
