Fanatic Eagle 2008
Fanatic Eagle is perhaps one of the best boards that the famous manufacturer has released on the market. It blends perfectly the features of a freeride and wave riding board and offers unmatched performance in terms of speed, power and maneuverability.
The 2008 model is constructed using the successful blueprint of the previous 2007 model, but of course is improved in several ways. The board has a slightly larger shaped with a stretched outline to provide maximum stability and to support a heavier rider. The volume is equally distributed through the board, so it creates increased flotation and improves the grip. The Fanatic eagle features a slightly lifted tip and a wider tail, to provide extensive power for hardcore moves, lifting and speed. A single/double concave shape of the bottom assures extra maneuverability and makes turns and rotations fast and easy to perform. Due to the use of an enhanced rocker line and rails the Eagle offers excellent upwind and downwind capabilities as well as impressive acceleration and speed. Out on the water the rider can notice the accurate and direct control of the board, and can concentrate on his moves. Not only that is fast and maneuverable, but the Fanatic Eagle is also really comfortable. A smooth and enjoyable ride is assured by the domed deck and the use of soft pads and flexible foot straps. Not only advanced and pro riders can enjoy riding the Eagle. The board is user friendly and quite forgiving even in gusty conditions so beginners and intermediate sailor can enjoy some freemove action.
The Eagle is available in two versions, the standard and HRS one. Standard edition is built using Hybrid Sandwich Technology, while the HRS is constructed on a High Resistance Skin Structure. Both versions are available in 100 to 126 liters volume and 63x245 to 69x249 centimeters sizes.
Optimal performance is achieved when the board is used with Fanatic Eagle GFK or G10 fins and a 4.5 to 9.0 square meters sail.
