JP Australia’s windsurfing board lineup for 2009 is quite impressive. A large variety of models covers all styles and skill levels and offers the perfect mix of reliability and efficiency for any rider out there.

The Slalom V is one of the best racing boards and it is targeted towards the pro racing enthusiasts. It is developed by JP shaper Werner Gnigler and pro rider and world champ Micah Buzianis who made no compromise to take racing to a new dimension. The board features a wider profile for the larger size models and a narrow one for smaller models combined with a shorter outline which makes the Slalom V really dynamic and agile. Plenty of volume is proportionally distributed to create increased floatation and assure a better grip. Enhancer rocker and rail lines drastically increase maneuverability and reduce the drag and friction. Therefore the board slides very easy through the waves and offers a smooth and fast glide. It can be easily powered up in light wind, and once it reaches top speed it can maintain it constant for a long time. The board takes maximum advantage of the water flow and wind to offer a super fast acceleration as well as perfect turns and rotations. Special attention was paid to control in less than perfect weather conditions or in the overpowered situations. JP made sure that the rider has absolute control and the board is very responsive and provides only positive feedback at any command.

Fast, easy to control and very powerful, the JP Slalom V is the perfect choice when it comes to slalom racing. The board comes in Pro Edition, constructed with a Biax Carbon Deck and Super Limited bottom and top finish. JP does not supply any fins with the Slalom V to let riders choose the fins that would suit them best. It is available in 72 to 132 liters volume and 54x236 to 82x238 centimeters sizes. The board offers maximum performance when it is used with a 5.4 to 10.7 square meters sail.

It is an awesome racing board. I’ve tried just for a little while, because it is way above my skills. It is stable and responds well to steering. It has a good grip and feels light. But when you begin running on it is shoots like a rocket. I...more
