Roberto Ricci Designs has come up with a new and highly performance board for all the freestyle and wave riding lovers. It is built on two main concepts: speed and accuracy, because that is just this type of rider needs, a fast and maneuverable board to perform all the tricks they wish to do on the waves. A moderate rocker line and the well proportioned volume distribution deliver high speed and plenty of power for high jumps and tricks. The double concave hull based o a V shape design assures extra grip and floatability and allows the rider to perform every move without any effort at all. The shape of the Freestyle Wave is compact and ergonomic, feature that makes the board run very fast and reach top speeds in no time. Once it is set on the water the board turns nice and offers positive feedback. Since it is very maneuverable and easy to handle it can also be used even by beginner or intermediate riders.

The construction is based on Kevlar fabrics, so the board is really durable, yet light weight t the same time. It is also an affordable board, but don’t think it lacks performance. It is highly versatile, but the low production costs due to the new technology RRD has used resulted in a board fit for any rider that doesn’t wish to spend a lot of money on gear.

The RRD Freestyle Wave is available in 90 to 120 liters volume and 238x59 to 250x68 centimeters sizes. RRD recommends that the board should be used with a 4.5 to 8.0 meters wide sail, depending on the size and volume.
