Many riders are looking for universal boards which can suit more than one particular sailing style. Crafting an all round board which can handle all of their needs is not an easy task, but the Tabou team has done it. The new 3S is the perfect choice for freestyle, freeride and wave enthusiasts. The board suits all three styles and offers a unique blend of power, speed and control. The board features a compact and rounded outline which assures excellent maneuverability in real world conditions. At the same time, the balanced volume distribution makes it stable and responsive.

The board is also fine tuned to suit multiple wind conditions. The smaller 3S models have narrower shapes and are very agile in high winds, while the large sizes pack a bit of extra volume and work fine in marginal wind conditions. The Tabou 3S is very reliable and can be used even by less experienced riders. It can perform really nice jibes and maintains a constant speed through maneuvers. The concave bottom shape assures a very fluid drive and a smooth glide. It also swallows chop to make sure that the rider feels very comfortable when sailing around. A smooth rocker line propels the board upwind without effort and assures better planning performance. It also assures top control at all times.

The board packs quite some pop and can perform really nice aerial move. It also has very predictable landings. As a freeride board, the 3S is fast and accurate. It can reach impressive speeds and has excellent grip. In waves it is snappy and offers tight and fast turns. The board is available in standard and limited editions. The standard 3S is crafted using a PVC full sandwich technology, while the Ltd version using a Flexlight CK technology. The 3S Ltd is stiffer and lighter. It is perfect for hardcore riders.

Even when it is off the plane, the 3S moves quickly and it feels dynamic. In light winds it won't get you planning all the time, but it is fast and runs smooth. It is a good allround board, oriented more towards wave and bump and jump....more
