Spreckelsville Beach (Sprecks for short) is yet another nice windsurfing spot on the northern coast of Maui, Hawaii. It is a nice windsurfing spot if you are looking for some bump and jump, some waveriding, or some slalom riding. Sprecks is a white sand beach isolated by large sand dunes covered with naupaka plants.

It must be mentioned that out of all the spots on the northern coast of Maui, and there are a few, Sprecks is one of the windiest. Speaking of the wind, here are some general details about the wind conditions in Maui. The wind generally blows from the NE. The wind blows at 20 to 25 knots in the summer. The wind blows at 18 to 22 knots in the winter; there’s less wind, but better swell in the winter.

One thing you may not like about this spot is that Kahlui Airport is relatively close; you may not like the noise from the airport.
