Hot Sails is synonym with performance in the world of windsurfing. Every single piece of equipment crafted by their team offers top quality and performance. The new 2011 sail line is intended to redefine the way windsurfers ride. If you are looking for a sail which offers the ultimate wave and freestyle performance, you need to take a look at the new Bolt.

The Bolt has a compact and aerodynamic shape which allows it to glide fast and smooth through the waves. It is easy to power up and use in light winds and very reliable if the wind picks up. The full X-Ply structure of the sail reduces overall weight and significantly improves durability and performance. The sail has a special panel layout which makes it easy to control and very stable. A reduced boom length minimizes the leech tension and assures a dynamic response to rider input. Each size of the sail is especially tuned for specific performance. Smaller Bolts provide increased control, while larger ones extra power and quicker acceleration.

The sail has plenty of pop and propels you upwind like a rocket. At the same time a solid four batten structure works together with the sail to offer increased stability. A straight foot design allows the rider to throw the sail around and maneuver it without effort. A flexible Dacron edge and a robust Kevlar structural skeleton protect the sail and the rider against damage. The Hot Sails Bolt is a dynamic sail which allows you to enjoy a fast cruise or perform advanced technical moves with ease.

The main thing I like about the Bolt is that it is very stable. It feels light and it jumps high. As a freestyle sail it is fast and snappy. Another good thing about it is that it is built to last.
