Freeride is one of the most popular windsurfing disciplines and gathers a huge number of fans. A dedicated freeride rider needs a powerful and fast, yet forgiving and easy to control sail. The new 2011 KA Koyote offers all that and much more. The sail blends speed with top control, it is very agile and fun to ride. The sail can be used by expert and less experienced riders alike.

The sail has a unique design. The upper foil combined with the progressive leech twist prevents drag and assure excellent top end, while powerful low foil assures improved planning performance. The moderated foil tension is carefully optimized to offer increased draft stability in overpowered situations. The rider can lock the sail for fast straight line course racing and it also feels well balanced through transitions. A solid carbon composite tubes and glass rod battens structure keep the sail steady and easy to maneuver in all wind and wave conditions. A twin clew eyelets system allows the rider to use the sail in a wide range of wind conditions.

The no cam design makes the Koyote easy to rig and operate. Even at top speed the rider can control it without hassle. The KA Koyote is a very fast sail. It is a powerful freeride weapon in the hands of an experienced sailor. The Koyote is engineered using a full X-Ply structure complemented by batten end protectors, a Dacron head panel, a thermoformed mast pad, and an Aramid luff panel. This is a very durable and light structure which makes the sail agile and easy to handle.
