A new series of Loft sails is ready to revolutionize the world of windsurfing in 2012. All sail models are crafted with specific focus on performance and usability and feel extremely reliable out on the waves. The new 2012 Oxygen is a pure freeride sail. It is crafted using a similar design as the previous successful 2011 O2 sail, but it features a few tweaks which make it even better. The sail is engineered using a special shaping technology which allows it to work with and for the rider to offer a sensational cruise. The sail provides plenty of power and it is able to generate extreme speeds when piloted by an experienced rider. It is very reactive and responds accurately to rider input.

The aerodynamic shape and optimal foil tension generates good low-end planning power and makes it sensitive to pumping. When the sail is trimmed for the upper end it offers explosive speed and can run just as fast as a cam race sail. When the sail is trimmed soft, it is perfect for marginal wind conditions. When it is firmly trimmed, the Oxygen feels slim and responsive for the upper end. The sail adapts itself to wind conditions to offer a comfortable and smooth glide.

The sail features a six or seven battens skeleton depending on size. This batten skeleton makes it very stable and assures optimal control. Sizes up to 8.4 square meters use six battens (4 tube battens) and sizes above 8.4 square meters use seven battens (5 tube battens). The Loftsails Oxygen is crafted using a lightweight and robust structure. It is able to handle all punishment without suffering damage. If you love freeride and would like to experience and exciting drive, the Loftsails Oxygen is perfect for you.

It replaces the O2 for 2012. It has indeed more low end power, but also better stability in the upper end.
