Naish Boxer 2012
Naish team is always looking to keep up with the constant evolution of windsurfing. For the 2012 season it has crafted a new series of sails intended to redefine the way windsurfers ride. All sails are carefully tuned to offer the best performance in their class. The new 2012 Boxer is a new generation type of sail which offers unmatched wave and freestyle performance in real world wave conditions. The Boxer has a low aspect ratio and a compact outline which provides a smooth and fast glide across the waves.
At the same time, these features improve the sail’s range. The innovative internal shaping provides unmatched control. The sail reacts accurately to rider input and has better rotation and twist control. This new design also reduces swing and balances the power delivery. Naish has significantly reduced luff length to make sure the sail handles jumps and lifts with ease. This way, extreme riders can perform spectacular maneuvers without effort. A draft back profile assures a moderate power delivery and improved handling. Even in high winds the Boxer is reactive and easy to steer.
The sail features a single scrim luff panel which assures a good boost and optimal power. The foil tension is well balanced and assures immediate response to wind changes. A four battens structure keeps the sail incredible stable at all times. The entire structure is reinforced by a solid Radial Kevlar Airframe. The Boxer is the favorite sail of pro riders and champs Kai Lenny and Julien Taboulet, so it is guaranteed to offer an incredible performance.
