  • Top quality construction
  • Can be ridden by just about anyone
  • 0.5cm wider than all the boards in Balance’s 2010 lineup
  • The manufacturer markets this board with all the necessary set-up accessories, apart from pads and straps

The great thing about the Wide Series is that it can be used by any type of rider. As board manufacturer Balance explained, the Wide Series can be used by riders who weigh between 60 and 100 kilos – that should cover just about everybody.

How does the Wide Series differ from the other boards in Balance’s 2010 lineup, mainly the Team 30, Team 33, Onieva Signature and Tyushkevich Signature? Not by much, I’ll tell you that. From a visual point of view, the Wide Series has different graphics. From a functional point of view, the Wide Series is 0.5cm wider than all the other boards in Balance’s lineup.

If you like the Onieva Signature for example but you feel something a bit wider would suit you better, get the 135 x 40cm Wide Series. It has the same shape, but it’s 0.5cm wider. Alternatively, if you like the Onieva Signature but don’t particularly fancy the hardcore graphics, get the 135 x 40cm Wide Series which has a less aggressive look.
