Axis NuSkool 2014
Kiteboard Features
The NuSkool is a new addition in the Axis twin tip lineup for this season. As the guys at Axis say it is a cool looking board and it rides just as cool as it looks. The NuSkool is oriented towards freestyle, but it also packs an awesome freeride potential. It is a board that every rider will love. It is forgiving enough to suit less experienced riders that want to progress, yet packs solid energy for the advanced ones.
The idea behind the NuSkool is simple: a board that rides well in real world conditions and can match the needs of most riders out there. The board is comfortable, easy to handle and packs a good pop. It’s just what you need to push your freeride and freestyle skills to new limits.
The board features a special outline, rounded in the middle section and straighter in the tips. This profile makes it very stable and comfortable and provides superior early planing performance. A full length double concave bottom design makes the glide smooth and fast and assures very good grip. The new rocker line, combined with this bottom shape, assures perfect upwind tracking and smooth landings. The flex is fine tuned to assure a smooth glide in chop but also provide solid pop to power your tricks.
The NuSkool is easy to maneuver and light. It is perfectly suitable for women or young riders that want to experience a cool freeride or freestyle session. Axis has built the board using a Paulownia wood core, Biaxial fiberglass with Uni carbon reinforcing laminates, PU rails and a strong Coax PBT foil top and bottom sheet.
