The Patrol is a board which generates awesome bottom end power to get you riding when the wind barely blows and keeps most riders off the water. It is a powerful lightwind board that provides solid performance in marginal wind conditions.

The Patrol is not a lazy and slow lightwind board. It is very agile and apart from get you going in light winds it offer amazing freestyle potential. The straighter outline, featuring slightly squared tips, assures excellent maneuverability and makes the board quick to plane.

The outline is also optimized to minimize spray. The board is controlled with specific carbon reinforcements that run heel-side, across the top and bottom of the rail which control the flex and provide massive pop and tracking potential. This is called Logical flex and not only that provides optimal pop, but also assures a comfortable ride and smooth landings. This way, the board works perfectly in both flat waters and chop.

The bottom uses a center spine with quad concave. The concaves are concentrated towards the rails so that they form channels to provide solid tracking and smooth landings. This bottom shape also assures a smooth glide and superior stability. The Axis Patrol is built using a Paulownia wood core, PU rails, biax fiberglass laminate with uni carbon reinforcements and a Coax PBT top and bottom sheet.

It definitely powers up quickly and moves fast and smooth, even in chop. It's comfy and fun to ride. But in heavier chop or in very light winds it's not the first to plane or go upwind.
