The Stylus is a brand new addition to the Cabrinha twin tip collection. This board is designed to excel in marginal wind conditions. When light winds tend to keep you off the water, just grab the Stylus and you can venture out there without worries. And you don’t even need a huge kite to do that. As the Cabrinha crew says, “Stylus twin tip will be the difference between sitting on the beach or getting a full kiteboarding session.”

The Stylus is a new board introduced by Cabrinha for the 2013 season. This board is especially optimized for light wind conditions and will get you riding in light breezes without fuss. Although this board has a larger profile (required for light wind performance), it is actually pretty sharp and quick. The extra wide outline helps you gain speed and ride very smooth when the winds barely power the kite.

The flat rocker line assures a smooth drive and gets you going upwind pretty easy. At the same time the speed rocker profile enhances acceleration and top speed. The single concave base shape assures a smooth water flow for a fast drive. It also provides good grip and stability. The board can handle light winds with ease and it is a very good freeride machine too. The board is pretty responsive and has an optimal flex.

Cabrinha has crafted the Stylus using a paulownia wood core to balance the strength to weight ratio and create a natural flex. The core is complemented by a single pour liquid urethane rail and ballistic p-tex base layer plus Biax glass laminates for maximum strength. At the same time, Carbon strips run tip to tail to provide pop, a livelier feel and quick rebound.
