Each board is especially tuned to suit specific riding skills and styles and aims to offer the best performance in its class. The new 2012 Suspect is a freeride dedicated board, but can be used for freestyle tricks without problems. It is also a good choice for freerace or waveriding. As the Gaastra team states, the 2012 Suspect is a new generation, crossover board.

The Gaastra team is dedicated to improve the riding experience of all kiteboarders out there, regardless of their skill or style. To do that it crafts high performance and quality gear intended to meet the demanding needs of modern kiteboarding. If you need a reliable board to suit more than one style which you can use for fun rides or advanced maneuvers, the Suspect should be your first choice.

The board has amazing freeride and freestyle potential, but can be used for freerace and waveriding without problems. The board is crafted using a full wood core and ABS edges. This structure makes it very responsive and durable at the same time. The new Dynamic Flex pattern generates optimal pop and power and assures a comfortable ride. The board has plenty of power, it offers high jumps and extra hangtime, but also predictable and smooth landings and positive feedback at any rider input. The Gaastra Suspect features a new Scoop which provides tight turns and loose carves.

The new bottom design makes it very stable and reliable in all conditions. A stretched outline significantly improves the upwind performance and allows the rider to glide fast and smooth even in light winds. The new edge design improves grip and assures optimal turning response. The board is equipped with G10 fins which add extra grip and improve power delivery. The board has a quick acceleration and reaches a nice top speed. It keeps the rider in control at all times and feels steady underneath his feet.

The Suspect is fun to ride and very comfortable. It is equipped with soft pads and 3D straps which assure an excellent bond between feet and deck. Since it is a very user friendly board, the Suspect can be used by beginners and advanced riders alike. It is perfect for performing quick tricks or progress. The board is available in two sizes and comes complete with fins, pads, straps and handle.
