The 2012 board line introduced by Naish brings innovation into the kiteboarding world. Both the twin-tip and directional models are engineered using the latest technology and specifically crafted to suit the needs of the most demanding riders out there. One of the newest directional boards is the Alaia. Naish Alaia has a dual purpose. It is perfect for strapless riders and it can also be used as a surfboard.

If you get tired of flying the kite around, you can always enjoy a nice old fashion surf session. The longer and narrower outline combined with the concave hips profile assures a smooth and fast glide with or without a kite. The board offers outstanding lightwind performance. When the wind barely powers up the kite, the Alaia generates the power you need for a nice session.

At the same time it is easy to ride upwind and has a smooth acceleration. The board is designed to be used without straps or fins. It is very stable and has a smooth glide. Even if the wind picks up it feels steady and reliable. The Tunnel Concave and Bevel Bottom design assures extra stability and grip as well as optimal power delivery. The board is very easy to control and very fun to ride.

The Naish Alaia is crafted using a full Paulownia Wood core combined with fiberglass layups. This structure makes it light and durable and provides optimal tensile strength. The Alaia is available only in 5’9” x 15½” and features an elegant wood finish. The Naish Alaia is a great companion whenever you are in the mood for a nice strapless lightwind kitesurfing cruise or for a fun surf ride.
