The 2012 Naish boards are intended to take kiteboarding to a new level. After a serious process of research and development, the Naish team has come up with a new technology intended to make the board work with and for the rider. The 2012 Momentum is Naish’s performance benchmark when it comes to freeride. The board offers impressive edging abilities, very easy planning, a nice top speed and smooth landings. It can be used by pro and competition riders as well as by casual ones.

The 2012 Naish Momentum has all it needs to take freeride to a new level. It is powerful and user friendly, fast and easy to handle and it is reliable in all wind and wave conditions. For the 2012 board models the Naish team has used specific bottom designs depending on discipline and style. The Momentum has a freeride optimized bottom design called 3D FR. This design features a single concave combined with quadruple channels which improve the edging and grip and assure easy tracking.

This design is complemented by the unique Naish Optimized Response Flex technology which generates a soft flex under light loads and stiffer flex under heavier loads, to retain direct energy transfer between rider and board. To improve the overall freeride performance, the Momentum uses a wider profile and a smother outline. The full rocker line assures a smooth glide in rough chop and provides smooth and predictable landings. It also improves the overall control and cruise speed.

The great thing about the Momentup is that it has enough power and speed to satisfy the needs of the extreme riders, but it is stable, easy to control and forgiving, so it can also be used by less experienced riders. The board feels very dynamic from the first moment it is set on the water and offers smooth landings and cruises, easy planning and plenty of pop.

Naish has engineered the momentum using a full Paulownia Wood core to make sure that the board has a balanced strength and weight. Additional Bi Axial and UD Glass Laminates are used to provide the freeride specific flex. If you love freeride, than you will definitely love the new Naish Momentum.
