The 2013 XTR is engineered by Nobile to take care of all your light wind troubles. As the guys at Nobile say, it is designed to extend your riding time at the lower end of the wind scale and it does that with style. The board features some of the successful features of the NHP all-rounder, implemented in a larger, light-wind friendly platform.

The wider and longer shape makes the board extremely efficient when riding upwind and assures excellent early planning performance. A moderate flex pattern assures a good response and pop when needed. The board has an excellent grip and feels very stable. It is also a perfect choice for heavier riders looking to perform technical maneuvers.

The maximized planing surface gets the rider on a fast plane even when there is virtually no wind. Wider stance options assure a more stable riding position and keep the rider very comfortable at all times. A great thing about the XTR is that it performs outstanding in choppy conditions and does not spray almost at all. 55mm 33% glass reinforced PA fins mounted via the „Click&go” tool-free fins mounting system provide grip and better upwind ability.

Nobile has crafted the XTR using A Paulownia wood, plus Airex and Honeycomb core, complemented by Triaxial glass fiber layers and ABS sidewalls. Carbon and Kevlar stringers form the X-React System which assures better response and optimize torsional strength under load.

don't get fooled by the wide shape. the XTR is really fast and agile in light winds. it's more like a lw freestyle board. it packs good pop and blasts upwind really nice. it is also easy to spin and edge. it also runs ok in chop. it doesn...more

great board to have fun in light winds (8-12 knots). very playful and responsive. it's big, yet light and comfortable. you can do all sorts of tricks with it, not just only run.

it has lots of flex for a light wind board. it makes the ride smooth and comfortable indeed, but it affects pop. pop is average. rides very solid upwind in light winds.
