Caution Spitfire 2013 Kite Review
Kite Features
The Caution team is proud to say that it crafts kites which blend mind blowing performance, flying reliability, and construction durability. The 2013 Spitfire is such a kite. It is a reliable kite whether you ride the surf, launch old school freestyle, or unhook and pass the handle. The 2013 Spitfire is available in four color styles and comes in 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 meters sizes.
The 2013 Caution Spitfire can handle gusts, chop, cruises, high speeds and high jumps. It is an incredible machine which can adapt itself to the rider’s style and riding conditions. It works amazing in real world conditions. It features super short leading edge bridals which deliver quick response and a crisp feel when sheeting in and out.
The short bridles prevent tangling when relaunching the kite or landing it. The rear and front bridle can be attached in two different points. This makes it easier for the rider to switch between the two front bridal settings. The new design of the wingtips assures simpler bridal options and overall quicker steering response.
The kite features strut tip guards on the leading edge and first strut. This prevents the flying lines to get caught between the canopy and the strut on self launch and relaunch situations. The kite is designed using a C-Shape SLE high depower kite platform. It makes it extremely versatile in all kinds of conditions and assures easy depower and relaunch.
Control Bar
The Spitfire Control Bar delivers the perfect balance between function, performance and durability. It is a one size fits all bar, featuring an adjustable length spectra trim line with an on the fly stopper ball and a spring tensioned quick release. It features an efficient depower system which reroutes the safety line through the center of the quick release to offer cleaner operation with a simple and functional integration of the quick release and safety system. Riders can untwist the center lines from below the bar due to the fact that the quick release doubles as a swivel. The bar has adjustable throw length.
