F2 Twister 2012 Kite Review
Kite Features
The Twister kite from F2 is designed to offer you the performance of freestyle blended with the comfort of freeride. It is designed to excel in both hooked and unhooked modes and delivers a consistent power plus accurate control. It packs the latest technologies to offer an enjoyable and safe flight in a wide range of conditions and it can be used for casual session or for competitive rides.
Meet the F2 Twister, a C-Kite that offers the comfort and power you always craved for. This kite is engineered to suit most riders out there, from intermediate to expert ones. Since it is a C-Kite, it delivers a great pop and power delivery plus a direct control. However, thanks to the craned outline, the load is distributed smartly in the canopy for a smooth flight. The kite has no bridles, so control is direct and very accurate.
A five strut configuration makes it very stable and keeps it tight in the air. A small flexible hose between the tubes and struts prevents the kite from deflating, by clipping off the hose, so even if the tube is damaged, the air does not leak out from the struts. The leading edge is optimized to make it fly further in the window and reduce drag. A straighter trailing edge outline prevents flutter.
The F2 Twister features a Reliable Loop System. There are three loops for individual kite trim settings. Low bar pressure means less force on your arms but large turning abilities of the kite. Higher bar pressure ensures direct feedback from your kite. You can choose which setting suits you best. The Twister is built using Teijin T9600 plus durable reinforcements in high stress areas.
Control Bar
The F2 Twister works with virtually any 4 line control bar on the market.
