Peter Lynn Fury Lite 2012 Kite Review
Kite Features
The Peter Lynn Fury Lite is one of the most capable lightwind kites ever. It uses a similar graphic and technical design as the Fury, a high performance all purpose kite, but it comes in larger sizes and it is optimized for marginal wind conditions. The Fury Lite offers a cool ride when the wind barely blows. It generates speed, power and lift and feels very agile.
When light winds keep other riders off the water, it is time to set up the Fury Lite and enjoy a great kiteboarding session. The Fury Lite comes in 15, 17 and 19 meter sizes. The 19 meters model is called Fury Ultra Light and it is available on special order only. This model will get you riding in virtually no wind at all. The Fury Lite is not just a kite that gets you going in light winds.
It generates a good speed and it is able to perform huge jumps. It acts as a lightwind freeride and wave kite and it is agile, fast and easy to control. It can even satisfy the needs of freestyle and wakestyle enthusiasts with its pop and turning speed. The Fury Lite can easily be used as a race kite by racing fans.
Its large canopy fills with power immediately and provides an awesome speed. The 15, 17 and 19 meter Fury Lite will excel in any race, while their characteristics will still shine in freeriding too. The Fury features a high aspect ratio which assures optimal power generation and precise control. However, it is very easy to depower and relaunch when needed.
The kite is built using LE and trailing edge reinforcements that assure increased durability without affecting the overall weight. Backline connection points offer adjustments to change the bar pressure to individual preference. The kite is easy to set up due to the fast and easy single point inflation system.
