Slingshot has constructed the Key HD on a Delta Hybrid profile, to make sure it blends power with control and stability. This shape, combined with the refined profile, allows the rider to power up the kite quickly and enjoy a nice, smooth ride. Slingshot has worked hard to improve overall efficiency, and now the Key HD has unmatched depower and relaunch abilities as well as upwind and acceleration potential. The five strut configuration and the new compact bridle system offer the rider extra stability and unmatched control. No matter how fast he turns and rotates, or how high he jumps, the kite is always safe and reliable. It offers positive feedback at any maneuver. Set up is easy and fast due to the One Pump inflation system, and once it is launched the kite behaves very predictable. The CFI attachment points allow the rider to optimize the bar pressure and depower capability. If the kite is crashed, there is no problem, because it can be relaunched in seconds and without effort, while the strut tail pipes prevent the lines from tangling. At the same time depower is available at all times for extra safety.
The Slingshot Key HD has been reinforced in the wearable parts of the kite like the seams, struts, Scuff guards, trailing edge and leading edge with top quality composites like Aramid or Mark Cloth fabrics. Slingshot has managed to balance the strength to weight ratio, and the kite is robust and light at the same time.
