Escape around the World with Simon Wichtermann

Simon Wichtermann entered the world of water sports since an early age. He started surfing at the age at 9 and then got into kitesurfing. At the age at 12 he saw a kiteboadrer riding for the first time and the sport seemed unreal at that time. At the age of 13 he started kiting and felt in love with this sport.

He progressed quickly and soon turned pro and started riding on the international pro scene. Today he is one of the most promising Australian riders and a regular on the local and international tours, like the Australian Kiteboarding Nationals and PKRA. His style and determination are amazing.

When Simon is not competing, he travels the world to train or simply to enjoy the best that life has to offer. His latest trip was an escape to the shallow and flat lagoons in Barra Nova, Cumbuco and Uruau, where he unleashed his skills, ripping it with style.

You can check out his escape and enjoy some pure kiteboarding action in the clip available in the related videos section below.
