After hard training and mental preparation, Portuguese kitesurfer and world record holder for the longest distance kitesurfing without stopping, Francisco Lufinha is ready for another record breaking challenge.
Yesterday, at 4PM GMT, the rider embarked on the MINI Kitesurf Odyssey, with the aim to break the world record of “the longest distance kitesurfing without stops”. This journey connects Lisbon to Madeira on a trip of 1000km and will take more than 40 hours.
Francisco will face the deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean, under challenging weather conditions, strong winds and big swell, but we are sure he will succeed in his quest.
