Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer 2012 Contest Is On

InMotion Kitesurfing is proud to launch the search for the Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer of 2012. Last year’s contest was a complete success, but the organizers guarantee that this year’s event will be even better.

The contest is designed to promote kitesurfing to women by showcasing ladies from all walks of life, size and age excelling at kitesurfing. Through this contest, the organizers hope to inspire more and more girls to get involved in this wonderful sport. This year there will be two cool prizes: One for the “Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer” and one called the “iMK Inspirational Kitesurfer of the Year”. The “iMK Inspirational Kitesurfer of the Year” will be chosen from the top ten finalists by the inMotion Kitesurfing team and their partners.

The contest is open to all female kitesurfers over the age of 16. They don’t need to be pros. If they’ve done something extraordinary helping the development of the sport, in competitions or by helping others get involved in kiteboarding, they have a chance of winning the contest.

Get involved in the Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer contest by nominating yourself or someone you like by following this link. The first ten girls with the most nominations will enter the final and the public will vote for the winner. Last year’s winner was Kari Schibevaag from Stavanger, Norway, with 24% of all the votes.

There are awesome prizes at stake. The Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer of 2012 will win a 7 day Kitesurfing Vacation in the French Alps, courtesy of Tantrum Kitesurf.
