  • Fins – fins are optional.

The Nobile Skim board has a lot of history behind it. The first board in the series was released four years ago; or to put it in other words, the 2010 Skim board is now in its fourth year. When it was released four years back, the Skim was the first kite-specific skim board to hit the market. The 2010 release continues to build on the tradition of previous models and offers a better riding experience than ever before.

The 2010 Skim board is meant to be used by intermediate and expert riders – it is not a good choice for the novice. The 2010 Skim board is meant to be used in less than perfect and light wind conditions.

In any wind and water conditions, grip and upwind drive is provided by the board’s relatively parallel-sided outline that comes with optional fins. Speaking of conditions, the simple fact of the matter is that the Skim board allows you to have fun in conditions that would normally be considered unrideable.

Why would you want to get the Skim board? You would want to get it if you are looking for a board that lets you have fun while everyone is stranded on the beach. You would want to get the Skim board if you want a light wind board that can help you improve your skills.

TIP: Nobile has one other light wind board to offer – the 2010 NHP XTR.
