If we were to think of the Mako lineup as a pack of brothers, then the Mako Mini would be the runt of the pack. Out of all the boards in the 2010 Mako lineup, the Mako is the smallest board. You see, there are 4 boards in the Mako lineup for 2010: the 130 x 35cm also known as the Mako Mini, the 140 x 40cm board, the 150 x 40cm board, and the 165 x 45cm board known as the Mako King.
As the small board that it is, the Mako Mini is agile and nimble. It is ideally suited for freestyle enthusiasts who like a responsive board under their feet that lets them push their freestyle riding to the limit. This is of course on top of the slash and carve the Mako boards are known to offer.
If you decide to get the Mako Mini you will have it for a long time. This is because the board has a very sturdy design: Duraclear top and bottom, tapered ABS rails, snowboard style construction.
