Audrey Meyer

Born in France, Audrey Meyer currently lives in Cabarete, one of the best kitesurfing locations in the world. It’s no wonder she decided to live there. Cabarete offers exceptional riding conditions and Meyer is the kind of woman who enjoys all sorts of watersports. As a matter of fact she has been into water sports – kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing – since she was 12.

Audrey runs the Dare2Fly kiteboarding centre in Cabarete, kiteboarding center she started back in 2000. She is a certified kiteboarding instructor. Besides kitesurfing she also teaches fitness – spinning, cardio, plyometrics, yoga and so on – at the local gym. Audrey says “the ocean is my life” and that “riding hard is my style”. On and off the competition scene, Audrey says she likes to ride hard each and every day, in the most extreme conditions. When asked to share her favorite kitesurfing spots, Audrey said she likes any place that’s warm, sunny, windy and with waves. Anywhere she can have fun with friends. Audrey’s favorite foods are sushi and black chocolate. Her favorite music is latino and reggae to chill out, hard rock and metal to get her going.
