The Kewl Race 2013

Period: Jun 15 - Jun 15, 2013
Location: Chattanooga, United States

The Kewl Race is an event that welcomes all people who love an active and healthy lifestyle. It is open to anyone who wants to compete, have fun and win cool prizes. This is a charity event and part of the proceeds will support the Chattanooga Audubon Society and help keep Maclellan Island clean, safe and restored for the city's growing number of adventure seekers.

The Kewl Race is a three stage adventure. The first part of the competition is a supported climb up the historic Walnut Street Bridge, a 50 ft limestone wall with routes from 5.2 to 5.11. After the competitors complete this first challenge, they have to reach the beach for a SUP race on the Tennessee River. After they finish this challenge, racers will head for a 2 mile trail run on the pristine canopied trails of Maclellan Island.

All the challenges can be completed by any competitor, regardless of skill level. This event is about having fun more than winning. The Kewl Race takes place in Chattanooga, TN on the 15th of June. To register and find out more details, please visit the official website.
