Baxter and Augaitis Win Big in Germany

The Standup World Series Camp David World Cup of SUP took Germany by storm over the last weekend, with some of the best riders in the world descending upon the beach in Fehmarn. Maui’s Connor Baxter and Canada’s Lina Augaitis proved to be the most determined riders, claiming the champ titles. The wins secure the two competitors’ leads in the World Rankings.

In the Men’s division, Baxter took an incredibly close second to rival Kai Lenny, after leading the Sprints on Saturday. But Baxter was extremely determined and charged hard in Sunday’s Long Distance Race, claiming the win. Lenny took second place overall at the Camp David World Cup of SUP and Jake Jensen followed in the third place.

In the Women’s division, Lina Augaitis dominated the entire competition, claiming the wins in both the Sprints and Long Distance race. She now leads in the World Rankings over Australian Angie Jackson, who now sits in second place.

Up next, the European Cup Finals in Rome this weekend will complete the European leg of the Standup World Series.
