The Florida Cup Has Returned This Year

The Florida Cup is Tampa Bay’s premier paddling event and it annually gathers lots of pro and amateur riders, as well as a huge audience. The Cup was not held last year, but has returned this season in full throttle.
It was a true water sports festival, with more than 100 riders competing in the 9-mile elite race and lots of other riders showcasing their skills in the 3 Mile Recreational race, 1 Mile Fun Paddle and 1/4 Kids Race. Plus that it was a great atmosphere, with lots of attractions for the public.
This year’s top SUP finisher, the veteran Bubba Ellis, finished first in the 14′ class ahead of young buck Chase Kosterlitz. It was an amazing event and you can check out the highlights in the clip below.
